The One More Thai store in Chit Lom is next to the BTS Chit Lom Station. It is a minute or two walk away after exiting the station. It is close to Central World, Erawan Shrine, and Siam Paragon shopping mall.

The store is located in a small alley, due to the recovery of tourism(after Covid-19). Therefore, it is basically difficult to get a slot immediately on site, so it is recommended to book in advance!!

■Transportation

Take the BTS Sukhumvit Line (▬) green line to Chit Lom Station and walk for one minute after exiting the station.

■Price

Services range from foot massage, essential oil massage, herbal ball to head, shoulder neck, etc., lasting 60/120/180 minutes.

■Reception area

It was already about 7 p.m. when we arrived that day. Some customers in the store were sitting in the lounge area waiting to be seated.

There was a reception counter on the left-hand side of the entrance. The service staff spoke English very fluently and their pronunciation was standard. The whole process went smoothly.

On the right side of the entrance is a screen with traditional Thai clothes on the side. The space behind is used to store some herbal balls and other sundries.

■Waiting area

The waiting area is very large, with left and right sides. As soon as you enter the store, there will be a masseur responsible for serving you to prepare slippers for you. After you sit in the seating area, they will put them away for you.

The waiting area on the left is not as big as the one on the right. For massage, you need to go up the stairs on the right to the third floor.

It is customary for massages here in Thailand to serve you hot tea first. You will feel relaxed physically and mentally before the massage begins. Wet wipes are also provided for you to wipe your face and hands.

The hot tea at One More Thai is a bit different from other places, it is slightly sweet. The aroma of tea makes people drink it without even realizing it.

■Massage space

When you go up to the third floor, you can see a sign asking for quiet in the stairwell. I remember that Fang and I were chatting too enthusiastically and were rationally persuaded because someone was having a massage at the time and it would disturb other people.

There is also a restroom on the right-hand side of the third floor, which is clean. Neat and nothing to be picky about.

The massage space is simple and comfortable. There is a set of clothes for you to change first. The grandmother who gave me the massage gave me an M and my husband an XL. Later we exchanged clothes. (Size are opposite)(´c_`)

If the sizes are not suitable, you can ask the master to help change them. There are curtains between each bed. For privacy protection, if you are together, you can just open up and close the surrounding area.

There are signs above the bed, both in Chinese and English! They really understand tourists very well (*´∀`)~♥

If you need more force, use your thumb, and if you need less force, use your little finger. Compared with other massage parlors, this is really considerate and does not require consumers to explain for a long time.

There is a nail salon place on the second floor. You will pass by it on the way to the third floor. It is said that many girls in Thailand also go out to get manicures because it is very cheap. You can get a good-looking manicure for about 100 to 200 baht.

Summary – Is Thai massage + herbal ball comfortable?

After experiencing Thai massage in the past few days, I personally feel that it is not suitable for me. The main reason is that Thai massage focuses on stretching your body and using heavier force. It is more suitable for people whose bodies are really stiff or who cannot feel any sensation from ordinary massages.

When the inner thigh was pressed, I took a deep breath the whole time and told myself to think of other things. Otherwise, people who are not used to massage would really feel the pain and want to cry. However, after the massage, my whole body really felt so comfortable~

After the massage, have a cup of tea and mango candy. If you like the snacks or tea they come with, they also sell them on the shelf nearby. They really know how to do business~

In the end, I would like to share my painful lesson. During this trip, we were exposed to the sun for the first few days. After making herbal balls the next day, we immediately experienced sunburn symptoms the next day. Never do herbal balls while exposed to the sun in a hot summer. May aggravate skin damage
