Nonsense preface: Honestly, we did not choose this hotel at the beginning but chose another Le Fenix hotel! Because it only cost $15 a night, I booked it.
In short, there is no harm in comparing. I must recommend this Lyf hotel! One thing I learned through this trip: Don’t skimp on accommodation!
Lyf specializes in shared hotels. It is located in Sukhumvit District, Bangkok. You can find almost everything you want in the surrounding area, including shopping, food, massage, and smoking marijuana (x).
It takes about three minutes to walk to the nearest subway station, and the price is low for one night.
The price is approximately $40 a night, the entire hotel also has a sense of design. It is a hotel I will visit again when I go to Bangkok.

Lyf Hotel Surroundings
If you like to go to bars or shopping, this hotel will suit you. It only takes three minutes to walk to the nearest BTS Nana station or the 7-11 on the corner, and it is very close to the Terminal 21 shopping mall.
Unfortunately, we did not go shopping this time. In addition, the exchange station, which is essential for tourists, is just downstairs.
Lyf Hotel Introduction
Lyf costs about $40 ~ $60 a night, which is considered a mid-range price for the bourgeoisie like us.
We just want a place to sleep when we go out for fun, but the service is attentive. As soon as you walk to the door, there will be a guard opening the door for you.
As soon as I entered, I was amazed by the decoration.
I can’t believe I can buy this hotel’s strong literary atmosphere for only $40!
■ check-in time
First of all, the website stated that the check-in time was after 14:00. We originally planned to go to the counter to store our luggage and then go through the formalities in the afternoon, but the service staff told us that we could go up directly!
Happiness comes so suddenly ~ Of course, it may also be because there happens to be a vacant room, so we are not guaranteed to check in early (irresponsible statement ha~)
■ 24-hour front desk service
In addition, the receptionist at the counter is a handsome guy, and the staff are also very fluent in English. I feel like I have purchased the services of a high-end hotel at a reasonable price!
They will first ask if you need to put your luggage at the counter first. Or is it okay if you want to move in now? Then you will be given two room cards.
■ Hall public facilities
The lobby also has drink vending machines, a public social area, and a shared kitchen for guests. I heard that there will be cooking lessons from time to time!
There is also a mobile power bank for rent at the entrance, which costs 15 baht an hour, and a maximum of 60 baht a day (very cost-effective)
Every day, you will see many foreigners working, chatting, or cooking in the shared space. If you like to meet friends, you might as well stay in the lobby and you may gain unexpected rewards~
What’s in the rooms and floors?
▶Water dispenser/trash can
This time we stayed in 713. There are trash cans and water dispensers next to the elevators on each floor.
In the past few days in Bangkok, I have been accustomed to filling up the kettle before going out. It is recommended to bring a “kettle that can maintain temperature.” It can save your life when you are almost dehydrated while walking on the road.
You will also get tired of drinking Thai milk all the time.
When we entered the room, we looked for a place where we had to insert the room card to have electricity, but it turned out that we didn’t need it, we just turned on the lights…
▶Sink
There are touch buttons on the mirror to control the light, which is very suitable for people who need to put on makeup in the morning. There is also hand soap placed next to it, and there are hair dryers, towels, and other common items under the sink.
▶In-room massage/self-service laundry/free daily necessities
The most amazing thing is that the hotel also provides in-room massage services, starting at 800 baht an hour. Couples can also do it together😆 Of course, there is also a self-service laundry service, and you can even buy laundry balls from them.
In addition, since Lyf is an environmentally friendly hotel, many basic supplies in the room such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, shower caps, combs, etc. will not be placed directly in the room but will be actively asked during check-in.
You can also ask for other items such as towels, adapters, charging cables, etc. at the counter. The only drawback may be that “slippers are not included”!
▶Bath products/bedding
Be sure to use the hotel’s conditioner. After using it for the past few days, my hair feels very soft. The hair dryer is gentle but has enough air volume!
The pillow also completely covers your head when you lie down, and I’ve been sleeping great these past few days!! I originally planned to ask the hotel if I could purchase additional pillows. (≖ᴗ≖)
▶Separate bath and shower
The bathing and toilet areas of each room type are separated and controlled through the sliding door in the middle. Since they were only renovated in 2022, they are all clean!
I don’t know why there is a butt flusher next to the toilet. It is said to be installed to take into account the habits of Malaysia and Indians. It is also called a “bum gun”.
■Free parking space
We completed the entire journey by motorcycle. The most important thing for us is to have a safe parking place.
When parking every day, the guard will give you a parking ticket. After giving the parking ticket and room card to the counter staff, they will stamp it to confirm that you are there. Tenants who live here can just hand it over to the security guard when they leave.

Transportation|How to get to Lyf hotel
The following methods are provided here for your reference, and you can choose according to your own needs. I am very lazy and it was already past 12 o’clock in the morning when I arrived in Bangkok, so I could only choose a taxi.
▌Taxi
From Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) near Exit 3.4.7.8 to the taxi point, get the number plate and take the taxi in the corresponding lane. The drive to the hotel takes about half an hour (if there is no traffic jam). If there is a traffic jam during the day, it will take an hour.
The traffic jam in Bangkok is really terrible.
The cost is about 450-500 baht and it takes 0.5 to 1 hour.
▌Airport Express+BTS
Purchase tickets at the airport B1 Airport Express ticket office, take the Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link (ARL) to Phaya Thai Station, transfer to the BTS Sukhumvit Line to Nana Station Exit 4, and walk for three minutes to get there.
The cost is about 100 baht and it takes about 1 hour.
