I don’t know if you are like me, but I hate crowded public transportation, especially when traveling in very hot weather. The makeup on my face has already been ruined by sweat before I even get to the scenic spot.
So when we went to Bangkok this time, we decided to use motorcycles to complete all the trips. The information on the Internet about this kind of information is either too little or too old. It seems that someone still needs to fill in this information~⁽⁽ଘ(˙꒳˙)ଓ⁾⁾

NK Motorbike Rental Introduction
At first, we chose this hotel simply because it was close to the Lyf Hotel we were staying at this time. I was very grateful for the company of the motorcycle during the entire four-day and three-night trip. The boss spoke English very well and there was no problem communicating with him. The rental process was also very smooth.
■ Location
It is about a five-minute walk from BTS Nana Station. Sukhumvit is very prosperous and has rich nightlife. You can visit shopping malls, bars or nightclubs here. It is also a place where many foreigners hang out. If you live here, then You can consider renting a motorbike here. It is also convenient to return it on the last day.

The entrance looks like this. When you walk to the end of the alley, you will see a red NK signboard. In short, you are right to follow the navigation first ~ you will see a bunch of motorcycles on the right-hand side to choose from.
■ Environment
When I returned the car at noon, there were still a few left in the store, and some were placed outside in the alley, so there was no need to worry about not having a car to rent.
In addition, they are also a B&B. It only costs about 600-800 baht per night, and the decoration is not sloppy. It has everything you need. If you are worried about trouble, you can also stay in NK and rent a motorcycle at the same time.

■ What you need to prepare
All it takes is two things: your passport and a deposit, it’s that easy! When doing research online, you will find that some car rental agencies still require driver’s licenses issued locally in each country, so we also have a backup just in case.
■ Car rental process
There happened to be guests when we went there. The boss asked us to stay in the living room and rest first. It felt like we were entering someone else’s home. The old lady also kindly helped us turn on the electric fan and asked us if we needed a drink of water.
Choose a car→Sign the contract→Pay→Confirm the condition of the car→Get a helmet
Step 1 Choose a car: The boss will first tell you about the cost of each car per day. If you have something you particularly like, you can also ask. Basically, you can rent any car on-site.
Step 2 Sign the contract: The contract content mainly includes your car model, rental days, half or full helmet, return time, deposit, etc. You need to bring this list with you when returning the car.
Step 3 Pay: We chose the one that costs 350 baht per day, totaling 1,050 baht for three days, and the deposit is 2,000 baht. If you plan to rent a motorcycle on the first day, you need to have enough Thai baht on you first.
Step 4 Confirm the condition of the car: At this time, the boss will take a mobile phone around the car to take a video and introduce to you how to refuel the car, drive the car, and when an accident occurs, there will be detailed information about the motorcycle in the car. When returning the car, you need to fill the fuel gauge back to its original state.
Step 5: Get a safety helmet: There are also many safety helmets to choose from on-site, no extra charge is required! It is sincerely recommended that you get one with lenses, otherwise, you will be extremely devastated when riding in Bangkok in some places where there is a lot of wind and sand.
■ Motorcycle rental price
Each NK motorcycle has a different price. For the price list, You can refer to the picture below.
When returning the car, the boss checked it very quickly and refunded the 2,000 baht very easily haha!

Things to note when riding in Thailand
✨ Thailand is a right-hand drive
Driving habits may be different from those in some countries, so remember to ride on the left.
✨ Pros
Time – The travel itinerary is more flexible and free, because you can go wherever you want, and you don’t have to go all the way to the scenic spots to find that they are closed and have to rush around. Or get up early in the morning and take public transportation so that you can sleep late, which is really important to me! Let yourself relax when you go out to play.
✨ Cons
Sun – be sure to protect yourself from the sun, because you may get sunburned like Fang this time after a whole day! (Consequences of not wearing sun-protective clothing)
Wind and rain – one day during the trip we encountered a thunderstorm, and we happened to be riding a motor, and we instantly became drowned. Therefore, during the rainy season, we need to prepare slippers and raincoats and put them in the carriage for backup.
Car rental cost – I actually feel that this is not a disadvantage. After all, you buy time, and it is not much more expensive than taking a tuk-tuk or BTS all the time. However, this is a matter of opinion and depends on how everyone plans their transportation expenses. If you buy the Thailand BTS transportation card or Funpass, you will also get some discounts for the shop.

✨ Oil price
The price of oil in Thailand is more expensive than I thought. I thought that the general prices in Southeast Asia were relatively cheap, so the price of oil should not be much more expensive, right?
After all, roadside snacks only cost 40-60 baht, but! I refueled in Thailand three times, and each time it cost more than 100 baht to fill up the tank. The 95 oil at the gas station said about 48 baht/liter. The price is indeed high compared to local salaries.
Suddenly I felt that living in Taiwan was really great ~ I mean the price of oil. 🙂
✨Transportation
Basically, as long as it is a famous scenic spot, night market, or business district, it will definitely be packed! At this time, looking at those people taking tuk-tuks or taxis, you will be very lucky that you have a motorcycle.
It is no exaggeration to say that for a road that can be cycled in 5-10 minutes, you may have to sit on a tuk-tuk for half an hour during rush hours and breathe in the waste from the cars next to you. Especially in Bangkok, which has rich nightlife at night, many nocturnal animals will Run out~
✨Parking space
Since the traffic is also very chaotic, it is not too difficult for motorcycles to park and find a space. Many shopping malls also have attached parking spaces for motorcycles. You can also see many motorcycles hidden in the alleys near night markets.
It should be noted that the accommodation must provide motorcycle parking. Otherwise, if you leave it outside for one night, you won’t know if it will still be there tomorrow. Bangkok at night is another crazy world.
