The ENGLISH Version Is Finally been Added To My Blog

This is the fifth month of blogging, and it marks a perfect end to this year. Let’s see what I have done this month!

You might think how is it possible that my website has been up and running for five months? Yes, because I just started operating the English version of the website this month.

Things are done this month

# Become a bilingual website

This should be regarded as the most difficult part for me to build a website. There is not much information on the Internet, so I also went to foreign English versions for reference materials. I tried the plugins recommended by everyone at the beginning and found that it was not smooth to use.

In short, I decided to use the Polylang plugin. Compared with the automatic translation program, I found that I had to manually translate it to check the semantics as much as possible. Although it cannot be as professional as the real translation, at least there will be no logically contradictory sentences.

# Apply for Booking / Shopee Affiliate Program

The Booking and Shopee Affiliate Project can allow bloggers to share links, and when readers click and buy, bloggers can then earn dividends. Despite it is not currently used, and the profit is pitifully low.

To avoid using it in the future, apply for it first! In addition, it is super convenient to put the BOOKING’s link. Readers can directly search for the hotels I recommend on the webpage, and there will be no additional booking fees for readers. It can be regarded as killing two birds with one stone.

# Shared documents

This month, I learned to insert the shared file function in the article. If you are interested, you can also refer to the article below. I made an annual summary form, which can be saved and used in Google Drive after clicking it. I encourage everyone to make life plans together and the little habit of reviewing.

# Google search console index application

Last month I shared that I finally learned how to use the google search console. The strange thing is that this month I found that the index of the website adopted by google is very few, and there is no sign of an increase, so! This month, I manually added a few URLs and asked Google to help me build an index. If you ask, there is a chance.

Sure enough, some really increased, but it took several days after the application was made because the crawler system would only build the index after reviewing the website.

Add a concept: only the adopted URL can be found in the search engine (GOOGLE)

# Get the first sponsorship

Since I opened the sponsorship channel of Buy me a coffee, I don’t really expect anyone to sponsor me, after all, I am not a very professional writer. I will always remember how happy I was when I saw the email notification and received a $5 tip when I’m working. I was actually laughing while riding home from get off work because my article really helped people, it felt so unreal. Thank You, guys.

I am very happy and surprised that the visitor data is getting better every month. Always be optimistic about the future~ because you will know the result only if you try it, maybe it is better than you imagined.
